Anthony Arrott brings more than 25 years experience to his position of Special Assistant to Trend Micro’s Chief Technology Officer, Raimund Genes. In this role, Dr. Arrott is responsible for managing the company’s threat analytics operations and threat data sharing agreements with outside organizations.

Anthony Arrott holds a bachelor of science in physics and physiology from McGill University; as well as a master of science in aeronautics and astronautics, and a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has contributed articles to such publications as BusinessWeek, Wired, SDA Asia, SearchSecurity, AME Info, and Tech Republic.

Clodoaldo Barrera is a Distinguished Engineer and the Chief Technical Strategist for IBM System Storage. His responsibilities include development strategy for IBM’s disk and tape subsystems, storage management software, and SAN and NAS solutions. Prior to his current position, he was the development executive for IBM’s serial storage product development, and for future storage systems development. Before joining IBM’s Storage Division, Barrera was a programmer and a development manager in printer product development. He has also served for two years on the IBM Corporate Development Staff in Armonk, New York. Mr. Barrera is a founding member of the Storage Networking Industry Association, and served as a Director and Secretary of the Board.

Prior to joining Elastra, Stuart was an Enterprise Architect with BEA Systems Worldwide Consulting, was the lead integration architect for a major Canadian telecommunications company, and has been a consultant and trainer for over a dozen organizations in the United States, Canada and Japan.

Vik Chaudhary serves as vice president of product management and corporate development at Keynote Systems, Inc., The Mobile & Internet Performance Authority, and a public technology company in Silicon Valley. He is responsible for leading Keynote's world-class product management team and has extended the company into new markets via 13 acquisitions and geographic expansions. He has spent 19 years in chief executive, marketing and engineering positions at blue-chip and start-up Silicon Valley companies. Before joining Keynote, he was CEO and founder of e-business measurements company Bizmetric, director of product management at database pioneer Gupta Technologies, and software engineering project leader at Oracle. Mr. Chaudhary is a frequent speaker at industry events on software strategy, M&A and new ventures, and has been featured in the New York Times and on the ABC News Nightline program. Mr. Chaudhary holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Phil Fritz a manager in IBM Tivoli's Strategy and Product Management group. In this role, Phil leads a multi-disciplinary team that works with clients to define solutions, drive product strategy and bring key technologies, including Green, Virtualization, Cloud Computing, SOA and Software-as-a-Service to the marketplace. Phil's team has been driving the strategy and product management behind key initiatives for IBM Tivoli , starting with IBM's Green Data Center launch in 2007 and, more recently, IBM Tivoli's new foray into Cloud Computing with Service Management Center for Cloud. Previously, Phil was a senior program director in the area of SOA management since 2002, helping define and drive the management capabilities in IBM’s SOA Foundation, focusing on security and management. Phil is a frequent speaker at trade, analyst and customer events. Phil has an MBA in Information Technology from the University of Texas – Austin and a BA from the University of Virginia.

Dr. Anup K. Ghosh is Founder and Chief Executive of Secure Command, LLC, an award-winning security software start-up developing virtualization-based Internet security products for corporate networks. He has served as a Senior Scientist and Program Manager in the Advanced Technology Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where he created and managed programs in information assurance and information operations.

In 2005 Dr. Ghosh was honored with the Frank Byron Rowlett Award for Individual Excellence for his breakthrough research into cyber-defense to include technology to automatically quarantine computer-based worms.

At a key time in the growth of the Internet, as director for Global SprintLink, he led the deployment of one of the largest international networks of its time. He also served as VP of IT Global Services at the Discovery Channel where he managed their worldwide IT infrastructure.

Mike Hill is Vice President of Enterprise Initiatives for IBM, responsible for the development and delivery of new IT technologies and services. With an initial focus on Cloud Computing, Mike is leading the IBM sales, services, and business development teams to provide a portfolio of Cloud-delivered solutions for clients.

Other positions have included Vice President of Business Transformation and Chief Information Officer responsible for IBM's global voice and data infrastructure and application development. Mike also was a member of the executive team managing IBM's internal transformation to an e-business in the 1990’s, an initiative which helped turn IBM’s business into a new model of growth in the 21st century. Prior to this, Mike held many sales and executive management positions including General Manager of IBM Southeast and South Asia.

Matt Holleran is Venture Partner at Emergence Capital Partners. He is interested in helping Cloud and SaaS entrepreneurs build great businesses and has in-depth knowledge of the Cloud and SaaS business and financial models. He joined Emergence Capital, the leader in Cloud and SaaS venture capital, from Salesforce.com, where he was the VP of Appexchange and Force.com Partners. Holleran has 13 years of experience in business applications serving SMBs to Fortune 50 customers, with functional expertise in marketing, product management, sales, channels and business development.

Kevin Jackson is the Director Business Development for Dataline, LLC and the author of “Cloud Musings”, a blog dedicated to government cloud computing. His previous positions include Strategic Computer Solutions VP, IBM Worldwide Sales Executive and JP Morgan Chase VP. Mr. Jackson has a BS in Aerospace Engineering, a MA in National Security & Strategic Studies and a MS in Computer Engineering. He is Tech Chair of SYS-CON's 1st Annual Government IT Conference & Expo.

Carl Kraenzel is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and IBM Master Inventor currently providing Chief Technology Officer direction to End User Services in IBM’s Global Technology Services. This includes services for end user device deployment, management, support, and transformation for virtualization and mobility. During his time at IBM, Carl has been instrumental in the launch of several first-release products, programs and technologies, such as IBM Virtual Infrastructure Access, IBM Self Enablement Portal, Eclipse RCP, Lotus Notes Eclipse Plugin, Lotus QuickPlace, Domino Off-Line Services, Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook, Domino Web Access well as IBM’s earliest offline browser technologies. Carl joined the company in 1994 when a company he co-founded in New Hampshire, Edge Research, was acquired by Lotus.

JP Morgenthal works as a Sr. Principal Analyst with QinetiQ North America's Mission Systems Group providing enterprise and SOA architecture guidance for Federal civilian agencies and an independent analyst for jpmorgenthal.com. Prior to joining QinetiQ NA, JP founded Avorcor where he developed a SOA-based SaaS SCM platform that has been the foundation of three award-winning industry solutions for customers. He is also frequent blogger and noted analyst on enterprise architecture, SOA and cloud computing topics. Morgenthal is also author of "Enterprise Information Integration: A Pragmatic Approach", which defines a methodology for using SOA and semantics to simplify integration.

Nickolov is a serial entrepreneur who has founded four technology companies. Prior to 3Tera (the NetworkWorld's Category Breaker Award winner for 2007), he founded Z-force, a storage networking company that pioneered file switching and NAS aggregation and Object Dynamics, a software company providing network infrastructure software. In the last 20 years he has authored 30 patents and has over 50 innovations in the areas of operating systems, multi-threading, kernel mode and real-time software, network protocols, file systems and computing resource aggregation.

Jon Pyke is a globally recognized Business Process Management pioneer and luminary with over 30 years experience in the IT industry working for a number of software and hardware companies as well as user organizations.

He was the Chief Technology Officer and a main board director of Staffware Plc from August 1992 until Tibco acquired the company in 2004. While at Staffware, he was responsible for driving the product strategy and positioning for the company, including the design and development of the IProcess Engine. He also had management responsibility for a large development team based in the UK and the USA.

Jim Rymarczyk joined IBM in 1968 as a programmer working for an IBM Fellow on the design of an experimental time-sharing system. He subsequently served as a principal hardware logic designer for the IBM 3033 processor, as Manager of S/370 Performance Analysis and Measurement, as Manager of S/390 Processor Architecture and System Structure, and as Program Manager of S/390 Product Design and Verification.

Jim is currently the Chief Virtualization Technologist for the Systems and Technology Group, leads the corresponding development community, and co-leads the IBM architecture board for Dynamic Infrastructure and Cloud Computing. He also does frequent customer briefings on the expanding role that virtualization will play in reducing IT complexity and cost.

David Snead is an attorney who specializes in technology legal issues impacting companies who provide services to others. His views on legislation affecting small-to-medium internet businesses have been quoted in the Washington Post and San Jose Mercury News. He is a frequent speaker as well as a columnist and blogger for the WHIR.

Sam Somashekar is an Advisor of Product Management at CA, Inc. Sam has over 15 years of experience demonstrating success in enterprise software product management and development, business development, marketing, and market research. He has experience establishing, developing, and inspiring high-performance teams, providing product vision, and delivering the best value to customers. Sam’s current responsibilities include defining CA’s Enterprise IT Management strategy and vision around Data Center Automation and Green IT initiatives.

Omer Trajman is Director, Cloud & Virtualization at Vertica, responsible for the company's cloud computing and virtualization initiatives. He is an authority on cloud-based databases through his pioneering work launching Vertica's cloud database on Amazon EC2. Previously, he worked at Wellogic and the Escher Group, engineering highly distributed database systems, including the 39,000-node counter system that powers the UK Post Office.

Vogels holds a Ph.D. from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and has authored close to 80 articles for journals and conferences, most of them on distributed systems technologies for enterprise computing.
